Ah, well ...
Jan. 26th, 2006 03:07 pmArt class yesterday was interesting. The homework seemed okay: draw an object using two point perspective. When you get the hang of it, you find it comes easy.
I was, apparently, the only one in the class to get perspective. But then, I had a good tutor who taught me at an early age about this.
Of all people ... my father. :)
Dad, you see, trained and studied as a draughtsman when he was younger. He was given a draughtsman's technical set in a plush case and all. He still has it.
So it didn't surprise him when he saw my little line drawing of a stool, rendered in clear two point perspective with construction lines, vanishing points and all.
As a matter of fact, it pleased him that I'd inherited this talent from him.
