fiat_knoxI dreamed of being in a back garden, watching a pigeon scooping up breadcrumbs off the grass of the lawn. It did so very oddly, trundling along on its belly, scooping up the crumbs like a big Dust Devil, its little legs pushing along behind it.
It didn't look as if it was cxapable of flight at all.
Then a second, even bigger, flightless Dust Devil pigeon dropped to the ground and began doing the exact same thing. Within moments, not only had it caught up with the first pigeon: it actually swallowed the first one whole. The last i saw of it, the big pigeon was trundling along on its belly, with the smaller one's head sticking out of the bigger one's beak, its own little beak wide open as if there was nothing weird going on at all.
