Last Night's "Merlin"

Okay, so in last night's episode of Merlin on BBC1, the evil sorceress Nimueh (Michelle Ryan) decides to try and poison Merlin, to take out the competition.

She does so with a rather cunning plan. She puts a pellet of poison into a vessel.

The what with the what?

I did not look too closely to see if it had a pestle, but I'm sure that the chalice from the palace had the brew that was true. Or was it the flagon with the dragon?

I'm going to watch the repeat in a minute and laugh at it all anew ...

End of Week Update

It's nearly done. Book One of The Fourth Rewrite.

I'm on the closing chapter: the one that wraps up the book. The chapter before the book's epilogue, that leads into Book Two of the story.

I'm at page 17 of this chapter here, and I can quite happily tell you that if this takes me till page thirty seven, this part of the story ends with this chapter.

I'll come out with a word count for the whole book, and a breakdown of the word and page counts of each chapter, when it's all done.

And then ... Book Two.

I haven't wrapped up this book of the story tonight. But I can get it done by the end of this week. I'm pretty sure.
