I am tired.
I have been up reading and writing stuff. Fourth Rewrite stuff, mostly. Editing, beginning with a good look at the opening chapter.
I'm conducting a three stage edit. Spelling errors first; broken sentences second; continuity and clues third. I'll make edits, and once I'm satisfied each chapter is tight, and that it is consistent with the rest of the book, I'm going to print up that chapter.
I have a lot of pages to print up, and so I'll be rationing the printing until each chapter is ready so I can save on cash.
On a different front, I contacted the electricity utility company. They say my bill's going to be delayed for a further two months - so my bill will be for five months, not three. The good news is, I have now obtained the option of paying in through a pay as you go card, spreading the cost.
That will help a lot.
Furthermore, the bill following will be at the end of October, and that will be for three months. Everything will be back to a quarterly scheme.
In all, this will help me to keep control over my bills, and of how little I can get away with spending. They can't bill me for electricity I don't use, after all.
So, there you are. A moderately eventful day, with the early release from A4e, the news abotu Nick Griffin getting pelted by eggs, and this thing with the leccy.
And tomorrow, it's off to Luke O'Connor House and Hightown Communities First. They want designs for a leaflet. I've come up with an idea hat might just help.
But I'll have to pop into the library first. After I've got my 2000AD.
Looks like an early morning for me.
Night night.
