Home Again
Feb. 11th, 2009 05:15 pmThere's nothing like getting my 2000AD to take the edge off. I felt like my balls had been kicked hard by the rejection earlier, but I can't let that stop me from creating and writing.
The secret of creativity is never to let anyone else's opinion get in the way of coming up with material. Just go ahead and do it. If it's crap, the only way you'll know it's crap is when it's out there - and if it is rubbish, you can learn from your mistakes and adjust your output accordingly. But without the experience of writing the crap in the first place, you'll never know what you need to improve.
And even the worst crap is usually loved by someone, if you reach a wide enough audience.
