Clothes Peg

fiat_knoxYesterday, I put on a clean, fresh jumper so I could head out to the shops to go and get some food. Mum joined me. We went out, had a laugh, did the shop and came home. As ordinary as they come.
This morning, I picked the jumper off the bed and found something attached to it.
A clothes peg.
A wooden clothes peg, attached to the middle of the small of the back. It had been there since Mum put the thing up on the shelf, a week ago.
So while I was minding my own business, enjoying a bit of shopping, there was a clothes peg stuck to my jumper, under the coat.
You can laugh ...
I'd like to throw this out to my f'list. Those of you out there still reading my stuff. What silly, dumb, simple thing has happened to you that, now you can look back on it, just makes you laugh out loud, but it would have felt like the world had come to an end while it was happening?
Stuff like a line of toilet paper still stuck to the heel of your shoe, visible knickers, a label still clinging to your clothes fresh from the store?
Go on. :)
