Feeling ignored again

Signs & Portents came out today, with nothing by me in it.
I've not received anything back from Glyndwr college.
About the only thing I have going for me right now is that the copy of Night Stalkers should be arriving soon, as in tomorrow maybe, and I'm going to look forward to Traveller Book 4: Psion this month, perhaps.
I've grown used to writing and getting published. I haven't gone and submitted something to either the Wolf or the Mongoose that's unprintable, like outright porn or a scenario where everybody's into drugs or something disreputable like that.
I have submitted a few pitches to Mongoose - and I might as well blurt them out now here; they are an idea for a book on Casual Encounters that I was hoping to make into a series of themed NPC books, and an idea for exploring the heart of the Zhodani Consulate with scenarios that would take Zhodani characters deep into the heart of adventures in a part of the universe where no Imperial dares to tread.
I might as well spread my wares out on this blog here. If I can't earn a crust getting published, I might as well publish them here and on the Mongoose and CoTI fora and be damned.
I've gone from player, to Storyteller/Referee, to Vilicus on the Shadownessence boards, to freelancer. Why should I want to step back and let somebody else take my ideas and earn a crust, and a name, from them? I want to be a part of shaping canon universes, whether they be the World of Darkness or the Traveller universe.
Ideally, I would like my Fourth Rewrite story to get published. After that, I can pretty much go back to doing what the hell I like. People will have to come to me for my services.
I just have too much pride in me to go back to being one of the passive fans any more.
