Going to a party tonight, for my friendy, Wendy. She's 21. Dating a 40-something. She once tried to pimp me out to one of his older friends. That was slightly odd. Then we drank Long Slow Comfortable Screw Up Against the Walls' (well, I did; tastes like alcoholic orange ice cream) and danced to Do You Love Me. That was fun.

I can't find my nice white tights.:( They're lost somewhere in my wardrobe/floor.

I can translate that easily, but my pronunciation veers into bad french for no apparent reason.

vee...guess? ih vuh any? ar, like are or arr? thuth? Goenuh...uhr in deg dowved o aoust (I'm pronouncing it a bit like august without the 'g'), at tree deg tree mu-mud oedi now or gloch (like glockenspeil with more phlegm).

Hesitations are in the right place, too. Trying to sound it out, like they teach you at four years old. Worked then.

There were 5 SF cons on last weekend round the world. I suspect that had an impact on the volume of English LJ traffic.
