Of course it depends on what we mean by "living off" ... because we don't know the details of the divorce settlement (currently in progress) ... but he's a professional footballer, so an overpaid egotist making far too much money for kicking a ball around a park.

And yes, that sounds like an apposite appellation ... however I've seen videos of pigs playing football (rather than running around and failing to score!)

Heh, the MTv news page about Ashley partying with girls in LA this week, has the Cheryl Cole (or possibly Cheryl Tweedie) song "You've got to fight for this love" ... obviously this is a fight to the death :-)
