... that your job is about to hit the shitter.

The signs are:

1. You've been cut out of the loop.

2. You are losing responsibilities.

3. Your job title has been changed, and it's not an upward move.

4. Times are tough at your company.

5. You are suddenly being micro-managed.

6. You have received one or more negative reviews.

7. The company is "reorganizing."

8. You just haven't been performing.

I have never known such utter cobblers in my life. This kind of scheming, petty, cripple - headed crap has happened to me, to my sister, to thousands of people.

I think they ought to be as follows:

1. You've been cut out of the loop.
1. People you hate, and who hate you, are holding secret meetings in the smoking room to discuss how to get you kicked out.

2. You are losing responsibilities.
2. Others are deliberately diverting the good responsibilities from you, and giving you the shit accounts without your knowledge or permission.

3. Your job title has been changed, and it's not an upward move.
3. Your job title's meant nothing: never has done, never will.

4. Times are tough at your company.
4. On the contrary, times are fantastic for the few people getting on your case, because they've got all the money siphoned away in their own little private bank accounts. If you only knew how much you really knew about this, you could put them in the shitter, if only you'd poked your nose in first.

5. You are suddenly being micro-managed.
5. Your supervisor is a spy in your camp, deliberately making your life miserable out of a hope that you'll resign rather than be fired, because if you quit, you cannot take them to court for unfair dismissal. Sadly, the way this fucking bully boy is screwing you over is very simple. Every single uncrossed T and undotted I becomes a glaring error, to be redone and redone and redone, over and over. Never mind that he's applying standards of practice that are not acceptable anywhere else in the company: that's not the point. There's only one point to this, and that is to make you look bad. It's called overloading.

6. You have received one or more negative reviews.
6. Even if you've done nothing wrong, something always goes wrong for you, and this is because they are deliberately putting obstacles in your way, or simply conjuring up crap out of nothing because you have no control over what they write in your record.

7. The company is "reorganizing."
7. Or so they say. Read this as "The company is getting rid of you, because the Director wants his nephew to start soon, and the best place for him to start is in your nice, cushy chair.

8. You just haven't been performing.
8. You just haven't resigned yet, and because of that, these fuckwad abortions from Hell will make your every working life hell until they tire of this and sack you anyway.

What can you do against something like this, when a small cabal of bastards decides to pick a victim whose face just doesn't fit?

I mean, short of going postal, tracking down where they live and just paying them a visit with a bucket of brake fluid to spray their cars with and a shotgun?
