No Sleep Tonight
Nov. 29th, 2008 03:13 amMy bothersome lower back tooth, the one with the filling that keeps falling out on me, has shattered, exposing the raw nerve to the environment of the interior of my mouth.
Right now, it feels as though all seventy species of the bacteria which dwell in my mouth have revoked their benignity, and have begun chowing down upon that raw nerve, sending little jagged shocks of pure undiluted pain up and down my lower mandible like someone jabbing the tip of a heated needle into the empty socket.
And it's Saturday, so I have to endure this all weekend long ... and Monday, too. My dental appointment is on Tuesday.
At noon.
Words fail me.
