At The Museum
Jul. 20th, 2012 11:22 pmToday, I did my bit at the Museum. I enjoyed the exhibits a lot.
There is always something to learn there - but more importantly, today others learned as well.
Three young boys visited the Museum. Everything fascinated them. Everything. They were like puppies. Everything was like a miracle to them, from the rifle and muskets in "To War With Wellington" to the sawfish tuck and the remains of Brymbo Man.
The sign of a civilisation that is evolving is that the next generation learns more than us. Today, I felt hope - a glimmer, no more - that this is indeed so.
