Someone's in trouble over her abduction. They found the girl not dead. The newspapers have got nothing more to go on. Crisis over. Everybody stop lurching around wailing and panicking and go home.

I do not feel sorry for the journos, who were champing at the bit for another dead girl so they could fill the pages with screaming "KILL ALL PAEDOS (AND MAYBE DEPORT A SHITLOAD OF FOREIGNERS WHILE WE'RE AT IT)!" headlines.

Mind you, we don't yet know what's happened to the poor kid during that time - they might yet get their 'evil paedo' story *shudder*
I have a feeling the tabloid press is going to go with the 'blame the mother' angle on this one, especially if it turns out the abductor is known to the family: after all, she's Irish, working class, kids by more than one man (a particular Daily Wail shock-horror favourite) and doesn't exactly look like a supermodel.
